The bad week finally ends

In my last blog update, I posted how I lost 5k in class. Well the rest of the week sucked too. I ended up losing 7k on bodog for the week. However, it was 10k the last 6 days, because I won 3k to start the week. Then I lost 1500 at a live 2 4 game on Wednsday, whichwas a fuckin joke. My goal for the rest of the year is to kill that game. No more fucking around after that showing.

I also lost 1k on stars. Most of that was 6-tabling 1 2 which I dont have the discipline to play. This is because I think its only 200 bucks, but I have to stop thinking that way if I ever want to build up a roll on there. Then I started playing 100 hu SNGs. Wow, those people are so bad. I have come to the conclusion that this is where all the fish have gone. I got it in good literally everytime. There were just ridiculous suckouts against me. There was a stretch when I was 4-tabling I got it AI as 80% fav on all 4 and lost all 4. WTF is that?!?!? I still managed to come back and win one of them. I fell thatby playing these 100 HU SNGS that I will have a nice roll on there real soon.

Now to my September results. Overall it was a dam good month. From the end of August till the last week of Sept I had a 51k run. Due to this recent downswing, I only made about 20k in the month of September which is pretty much an average month. Over the past13 months I have averaged roughly 17k a month. I dont have pokertracker so I dont know how many hands I logged. I do know that I played 89 hours and 53 minutes which is slightly less than 3 hours a day. This is roughly my average. I would like to start playing more but I definately cant now because of so much dam school work. FUCK SCHOOL!!!!! Gotta do a lil studying b4 bed for my test tommorrrow.

Ugly Ugly

Poker sucks right now. I just played a session in my Operations Research class. Why did I have to bring my computer. I lost about 5k and got into huge arguments with 2 people who kept talkin shit on me and I just went off. This is my worst day in a long time. I am really pissed off.

One bright note was that I made about 4300 this weekend. It doesnt make me feel any better. This weekend maggie is coming home and we are going to my highschool's football game. It is homecoming and her sister is on homecoming court. It should be pretty fun, because I havent seen her in about 2 wks which sucks. Well I'm lookin forward to this weekend and hope my results turn around tommorrow. Now back to some class work.

Nice live session

Well, played a little poker yesterday online. For the first time in I do not know how long I had a losing session. I lost about 2k. Thing was I took over 3k in bad beats. I was really pleased with how I played. Everytime I got it in I had the best of it.

Today was a pretty easy day for me. I woke up at 2 and did my marketing assignment. Then I went to play a live session after class. I played for about 7 hrs and ended up making about 650 bucks in a 1 2 game. I played decent. I feel like I played better last night and I lost 2k. I hit so many freaking money cards. It was ridiculous. Just kept cont betting and drilling my gutshot when they had 2 pair. 2 other times i raised 34 and 67 flopped 2 pair both times and got it all in vs top pair for a full buy in then an over pair for 2 buyins. All in all pretty good day. Prolly gonna play a lil online now.

Nothin better than chillin in class and winning a G

First post here in about a week. For the weekend like I said in my last update, I went to Erie to visit Mags. Since I'm not 21, I got her sister to get me a bottle of Patron to drink. I t was a good time. We got drunk one night and just hung out the others. My poker good fortunes continued. On Thursday night I won about 2500. However, her internet when down after that, and I was unable to play until Sunday when I got home. So, instead of playing poker I did some homework!!! How bad does that suck?!?!? It took me 5 hours to figure out 2 problems in excel. Why the fuck do teachers give us homework in excel when the tests end up being written. That just pisses me off so bad.

On Sunday I just layed in bed all day, played poker, and watched football. Just another day in the life. Again, I won 2500. I even won about 300 betting sports. On Monday, I worked on a group project for communications class. Then I had class from 5-7:30 During class, I played poker for about 1 hour and made a grand which was sweet!!! After class, I came home played a little more poker and watched high stakes poker and made another 2k. In the midst of this I deced to bet all 18 o/us in baseball. THis is the 4th time in the past 2 wks I decided to bet the board. So far, doing this, I have lost about 2k. When I do this, I bet the same 150 a game.

Despite this, in the past 33 days I have made 51k, 46k online and 5k in vegas. There was also about 6 days in there where I did not even play. This was due to having so much dam busy work. 51k, though in 33 days, I can't complain. Hopefully, this run continues. Off to class now.

It keeps going and going and going

All this running good has to end sometime. I am just glad it hasn't stopped yet. Since the 13th of August, I have logged 90 hours of play and have made about 45k. Thats a ridiculous 500 bucks an hour. This is the second best run of my life. Ironically my best run came at the exact same time last year where i had a 34k 9 days and a 52k month. So poker has been very good to me lately. However, only playing 90 hours in a month is not very good. That means I'm only playing poker 3 hours a day.

This has been due to the fact that I have had so much dam busy work. Every single class I have homework due for the week. Some classes I have 2 assignments due. It just flat out sucks. Today I think I may be going to play in a 1 2 game down the street. I love going to that game to just donk around.

B4 I go, I am running home to get my car so I can drive up to see Maggie in Erie. It has been 2 weeks since I've seen her which really sucks. I hate going long periods of time without seeing her more than going long periods of time without poker. But I finally get to see her tommorrow so I am really excited.

One last gripe I have is this: I NEED TO GOLF!!!!!!!!! This is getting ridiculous. I have not picked up a club in about a month. This is just insane. I golfed every swingle day in the summer and it became an addiction. Now I am back at this hellhole, the University of Pittsburgh. I dont have a car here and I cant golf. It sux so dam bad. Well, off to class now to turn in some homework.

A sick cooler for a 8.5 buy in pot

Friday was going pretty well. I was up about 1k and it was about 8 Am and I was ready to go to bed. Then I took down 2 huge pots. Here is the first hand which is just the sickest coller ever. We were sitting over 2500 each at 3 6 nl. It was a heads up game.

turn was the 9 diamonds i checked he bet 75 i made it 275 he flat called
river was brick i bet 670 he made it 1500 and i shoved 900 more
then came the showdown and a 5200 pot to me

about 4 hands later I won a 3500 pot

flop 852 dude bets 30 i make it 90 he then shoves 1500
im like no way he has a set and i call he shows 1010 and I hold for 3500 pot

So I ended up 5k for the day


Saturday and Sunday I just laid around all day watched football and did a shitload of homework. I did not play poker Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, because of all the busy work I had to get done. However I am going to get back to the tables today and try to continue my amazing run.

Starting a blog

Over the past few months I have started to read all the top poker players blogs on the internet, so I have decided to create my own. Today was a pretty good day for me, overall. I ended up winning 3k overall. Most of this was a 3 6 NL with a little at 5 10. All this was won playing NL holdem. Recently I have started playing PL Omaha, and in my first 2 weeks ran off a nice 20k run. I have realized that this is the most profitable game on the net right now.

I hope to continue the success I am having. It has reached an all time record for me for a 3 week span. During this time I have accumulated about 36K while logging about 18 hours of play aweek. I know that the results will not always be this good, but I feel as if I'm playing the best poker of my life right now. I guess this is how everyone feels though, when they are winning.

In other news, today I had towake up at 8AM. For those of you who dont know me, I hate waking up before noon. That is why I have no classes before 5 on Monday and Wednsday and no classes before 2 on Tues and Thurs. The reason I had to get up was because I missed 2 finance classes and thta being my major I wanted to meet with the prof. so I didn't get too far behind. So last night I went to bed at 1030 and just got up at noon. So I slept 13.5 hrs which is completely pathetic. Well I'm gonna start playin some poker right now
