The mind of a girl/woman

Well first off Id like to take a quick look at whats been going on in the poker world for me. I had a nice october making abou 15k. It was nice to finally make some money after 2 slight losing months. Currently I am up about 4k in november but I have only been playing about 7 hours a week.

Now I would like to discuss the mind of a girl. Now, this is kind of a random topic but I just think its so fascinating. This brings me to my main question. Why are girls so fucked up? If your a girl reading this then you may think I'm a little bit of a mesoginist, but I really am not. I really truly want to understand what goes on in your fucked up minds. I am even open to listen to any one of you explain yourself.

I mean do you girls try to be as selfish and insecure as you could possibly be. You know there was a time I was like this and it wasnt too long ago. Yea I was a selfish, insecure, and immature little boy. It was only about a year ago but I have learned so much since then.

Lets start with a girls selfishness..First off they are scared of their own shadow...scared to do anyhting that would hurt them or anyone else. Like just freaking say how u r feeling dont hide it...They only think about how they are going to feel after they say it rather than the well being of themselves and the other parties involved. Heres the famous girl line when they are pissed.."Fine." The infamous fine. God I love it. What I love more is how Ive learned to deal with that word...You just say ok or dont respond and it drives them insane...All they want to do is get a reaction out of you in order to help them with their insecurities.

Like do you enjoy being so insecure? always worrying about what people think? Doesnt it get old and add unecessary stress? You think it would. Some girls are to hte extreme that they need to see their man every minute every day or fall head over heals for them and put I love you in their profiles and display to the world how they feel.

Then one day they break up with the person and that person is the worst person alive. OMFG this is not the case!! You know when your younger you dont realize this. You think its the end of the world..Its not...The thing is girls never realize this. They say stuff like I hate hbim hes the worst hes awful...Now its very understandable to be upset and if the person mistreated you at the end by either lying to you or not telling you something. However that doesnt make the person a bad person...

I mean I cant believe how nuts older women are too...They are suppossed to be mature and not selfish...Just not the case. For example my roomates mom called him crying when he was dating a black girl..OMFG could a parent be more selfish...Only caring about how she perceives it and not her sons happiness. Well done MOM.

Then there was my grandma just today who wrote a happy bday card to my mom and in the card said "I wish you would have wished me a happy anniversary." MY mom through them a 50th wedding anniversary party with 150 people!!! Jesus christ the audacity and selfishness of that.

This is just a rant and not really thought out but I leave you girls with this.

Dear girls,
Please dont be so fucked up. Just try to think rationally about things..TRY TRY!! Dont only think of urself or ur well being!! Dont be so immature and insecure.

Getting back in the swing of things

Lately Ive finally been putting in some hands. After losing 5k over the course of august and september, I am finally in the green again in october. During August and September I logged not even 20k hands and played less than 100 hours total for the 2 months which is despicable. So far this month Ive played more hands than I had the previous 2 months. It has definately paid off with me being up about 13k. Thats slightly lower than my average month but it is a step in the right direction.

I completely forgot that I make pretty much all of my money heads up or shorthanded. I was such a dumbass because I was sitting and full 6 max and full ring gms which is a grind to make a profit. Now I just sit at 4 heads up tables and wait for the fishies to come.

Something that is very frustrating right now is sports betting. I just dont win. I lose and lose and lose. Its not that much money. Im prolly down about 4k but I only have like 150 or 200 on a game so I shouldnt be losing 20 more games than I win...cmon...but thats sports betting

I am really hooked on madden right now which is taking up a lot of my time. Yes, sad I kno..There is nothing in the world that frustrates me more...Id rather lose 5k in poker than a game to my friends at madden..Losing just sucks...

Well hopefully this success in poker will continue. I hope it does because I am having my worst year ever. it is still very successfull but my goal was 200k and im gonna come up about 75k short.

Life is boring and Fuck this country

Well this is my first blog in about a month...My life is just sad right now. I really do nothing and I feel like I have no purpose right now. I have played virtually no poker. I have no responsibilities. I pretty much do nothing!!! Over the pas month and a half I am down about 6k. By far the longest Ive ever been down.

I am not taking classes this semester at the University of Pittsburgh. I thought this would be a good idea. Well it WASNT!!! Quite possibly the dumbest decision of my life. I thought it would be great no responsibilities, no waking up, no nothing. Well it sucks. I hate every minute of it. I figured Id be playing sooo much poker but I dont. I hardly play any at all.. I have no desire. I remember when I was taking classes, after I studied for 3 or 4 nights for a test I would reward myself by playing long poker sessions. I always had a desire to play. I just dont anymore and it is very discouraging.

I am so bored that I need to fill a philosophy requirement so I am taking a class at CCAC that starts Tuesday. Im glad the credits are gonna transfer to Pitt because the class is only costing 350 bucks as oppossed to the same class costing 1700 at Pitt. I want to start doing other things too to pass the time instead of being a bum. I am thinkin about weight lifting and exercising which if u know me will sound insane to you lol. I am resumin classes at Pitt in the spring and cannot wait.

Now I am going to bitch about this fucking country. My parents own a business. It is a bar and restaurant in my hometown. We have been in business for over 15 years. However, a big hit in our revenue and profit is coming due to something out of our control. The state of PA has decided to ban smoking in all bars. Well 70% of our cust base smoke!!! I have never smoked in my life. I hate it. It is disgusting. I would prefer it not be done around me. Thats why there are non smoking sections. As much as I hate it, I have no right to tell someone who owns a business and building what to do in it!!! No right!!! How is this constituional....O wait its not...This is yet another disgrace by the government.

Not to mention I had 90k in bodog and can only get 3k every 5 days so only 150 days to get it all...Im down to 60k in there...Yay only 20 more trips and 100 more days to get my money. Whos fault is this. Can anyone guess???? yea u got it the government.

Poker is good

At the end of June and through the beginn of July, which was a 13 day stretch, netted me about 40k...Funny how it felt like i was gettin shit on constantly but I def cant complain. Yesterday I played some PLO and made about 2k...Ok I have to be horrendous at this game. I mean I really do... I play every single hand...However I feel I am very very good postflop...Position is evrything and I really like to bluff. People fold almost anythin but the nuts. I am going to post my pt for omaha. Everyone is just gonna laugh.

My life is pretty boring though. I have pretty much done the same thing for the past month. That is eat, sleep, play poker, and go out at night. I dont know I think its gettin a little old and am trying to find a new hobby. Golf is awesome but costin me mucho money to repair clubs..Since my last post I broke my 8 iron. It waxs one of my better flip outs I must say. I also threw my putter in the lake after dubbing 2 balls into that lake. That brings my total of clubs broken,thrown ito water/weeds or lost to 29 in the past 2 years. Might need to mature but at the same time its a good laugh.

I went and saw Dark Knight which was awesome. I went and saw it again after the midnight premier. It was just so fucking good. The acting the story the plot the meaning, everything was just great. Christopher Nolan has to be the best director in Hollywood. He has never made a bad movie. Hes only made 5. Memento, Prestige Batmin Begins, Dark Knight and Insomnia. All are great movies. I recommend them to everyone.

2 Days What

These past 2 days have been sick...I mean thats pretty much all I can say...I pretty much have won every hand....I have also played about 19 hours of poker which is insane.

I have been up to nothing new lately. However I think I am insane. Yesterday on the golf course I had a poor round. I shot 50. This comin after shooting 38 the day b4 on a much tougher course so I was really pissed off....So how do I take out my frustrations..I broke 3 clubs on 3 different holes. My 4 iron 5 iron and 9 iron are in half gettin reshafted. My golf game is out of commisssion now for the next wk due to the lack of clubs.

Off to the yanks bucco game tommorrrow so pretty pumped bout that.

I recently got back from Vegas.It was a fun 2 weeks but I am sooo glad to be home. For the past 6 weeks I have been all over the world. I am all traveled out and Vegased out for that matter.

I am home for the next 2 months and plan on doing nothing but playing poker, hanging out with my friends, and just having a good time. I also am thinkin about takin the semester off of school in the fall. I dont need the money and just want to relax at home for a bit.

Well after my rant last week, I went on a ridculous run...I am up 26k over the past 7 days with 80% of the hands comin at 3 6. This is an incredible upswing and I really have played perfect. This feels good especially after making 22k the 3 months prior.

Heres a pt tracker for 8 months of play..Over those 8 months I am up a little over 150k...I hate bodog bc poker tracker quit working in december and january, my 2 best months, and you have to run handgrabber and i forget to sometimes so there is 50k in cash games missing plus the about 7k from SNGs and 3k from omaha. The pt is at the top for some reason.

Vegas!!!!!!!!!

Yes Im back in Vegas....This is the 4th time in 4 months. This is definately the best though. I am here for 2 weeks and there are about 10 of us staying in a house with some people chsnging weeks. I have just layed at the pool..played poker..and slept. Its been very relaxing. Gambling, I am about even right now.
We have played a home game 3 days with me netting 360 bucks!! woohoo!! I am down 2k live though. I was up 1200 and then lost 3200 in literally back to back hands at 5 10. However the crap table treated me well and I won 1200.
I will talk about the hands I lost live later as well as post some online hands. Currently, I am down about a k online but was down over 5500 so I am happy. Gotta go get ready for dinner now though. Hope I dont lose credit card roulette. I am 3 for 3 so far avoiding losing the 930 buck bill. Ill post tommorrow.

The past 4 years of my life

The past 4 years of my life have been nothing short of amazing. I was always very fortunate, had a great family, great friends, and pretty much always did what I wanted. However, about 4 years ago my life would change forever. I was always big into baseball. I played from when I was 4 till I was 19. I was an all section catcher both years I started high school baseball, was amed to various allstar teams. This is what I thought I wated to do after highschool. I thought I'd go to college like everone else adf play baseball.

One day after a game my friend on ther team asked me if I ever played poker and I said no. He said it was a great game that everyone at school was playing. I said Id give it a shot. I remember him saying that it was a easy game and I remember him telling me how to play and my quote was, "Wow this is easy." Well I was very wrog. The first time I played I called 3 streets against him with a high because well I had an ace. The first time I played against him heads up I lost $400. $400!! I was 16 years old, had no job, ad now no money. All my lunch money was gone. Well I saved up again and played him ad lost another $250. I remember distinctively bitching because I lost with 3 aces to a flush. I was ur typical fish/donk crying about his bad beats or what I thought was a bad beat.

Summer came and every sigle night there was a poker game at someone's house. I remember rushing home from my baseball games to hurry to someones house so we could play. We woiuld play till 8 9 AM in the morning. The time flew and I loved the game. I made probably about $1000 bucks that summer. We were all so bad. I really wated to get better though, so we continued to play all the time until I went to college. My friend Jared and I were the biggest winners in the game. I probably made about $3000 in the 2 years playing with everybody.

Then came freshman year of college. My friend Tim came to my home game and was dumping money like it was nothing. He lost like 200 bucks which was just astounding to me. However, I found out yhe had made a lot of $ playing online. I had really no idea what online poker was. He came over first day of college and played me heads up andf I won like 50 bucks off of him. I told him just to give me the money online. I started to play underr his name on bodog. I lost that 50 bucks so quick. I remember the hand. I had Q10 in a .25 .50 cash gm. The flop was 10KA with a flush draw. I cr a guy on the flop, and remember saying please no flush on the turn the flush came and I went on to check call all my chips.

I decided to create a ame and deposited 50 bucks. Somehow over the course of the semester I had made 1500 bucks. Then second semester came ad I started playing 50 dollar hu SNGs as well as $35 six max SNG's. I ran my roll up to about 4000 bucks. I thought I was amazing. I had $4000 and was only 18. I decidied to play 5 10NL. I remember having QJ on a J high board on the river. I kept convincing mysdelf I was good but the guy shoved all in and I folded. He showed a bluff. Then I monkey tilted my stack aweay. Ill never forget playing I was so scared. Then I was playing against a regular. His ame was pinappls probably the best player on the site at the time. I flopped TP TK against his set then monkey tilted another buyin plus away. I had lost $2200 in a hour. I was sick. I called my mom distraught. Well it was back to the SNGS. Over the next 3 months I made 13k playing these SNGS which was amazing. However, I payed for a semester of school and bought other things and was dow to about $3000.

I went to a local 2 5 game where I got it all in vs k 10 on a J 10 4 board with AA and he spiked a 10 ad busted me. There went 500. I went home sat 2 4 and there went another 500. I almost puked. I was almost broke again. It was time for finals week. The day finals were over I went home had 1500 dollars to my name. I decided to open up a 2 4 table. I said whatever Im taking a shot here. If I go broke I still got school. Its not a big deal. WEll in 3 nights of playing 2 4 NL I had made $11,000. Then I never looked back. That summer I made 75k. I was just playing 2 4 and 3 6 NL. Then scvhool started and I made 55k the first month of school playing 3 6 and 5 10. Then I hit what today is my 3rd biggest dwonswing ever of 15k. My biggest is 20k which is not bad at all. i credit this to my good br management.

It has been pretty much all good since that 11k upswing tho. I really cat complain. 100k came then 200..300...etc...I really cant describe it. I mean I guess im just very fortunate.Poker without a dioubt is how u run at the beginning. If i didnt have that score then the way I live my life would be so much different today. This is pretty much of a brief synopsis of my poker career.

Poker has done so much for me. The best is the free time it has given me. I go on umerous vacations a year...Whether its Vegas every month, or golf in myrtle twice a summer, or even right now where I am typing this in Stuttgart Germany and have a plane to Rome in about 3 hours. Poker has given me the freedom to do what I want when I want and I am trul grateful. I dont know if this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I mean I love it. I think the main reason I love it is because Im able to do whatever I want with any of m friends whenever they weant to do it. In 10 years I may not have that luxury because they will have moved and have a family and have to work. I just wat to take advantage of the situation I am in now by having as much fun as I can.

I wish everyone to be able to experience what I have the past 2 years of my life. It has really been great and I am truly grateful

Back from Vegas

I recently just got back from Vegas. It was sweet ass time as always and was sad to leave. I ended up losing about 1800 bucks. However, 2 nights, I was up 2k and 1k, got hammered and ended up losing 500 and 1700 bucks on those nights. I guess the moral of the story is dont drink and play.

Poker has been going pretty well overall lately. Since I got from Vegas on Saturday, I am up almost 12k. It should be soo much more. I wish bodog had poker ev because I have to be running well below expectation. Im just happy to finally be winning again. Since my losing month in February I am up about 24k overall and 28k playing poker. It isnt great but not bad for a little over 2 months.

Finally running well

It has been so long since I ran well. However, the past 2 days have been great. I won a little over 9k the past 2 days. Since January 31 I am dead even playing poker, which is a little discouraging. I am down 2k overall gambling online. I am down 4k playing black jack. All I can say is I am a fucking idiot for playing this game online. I actually do find it quite humorous that I play between 10 and 25 a hand with the occasional 50. I have played about 15 sessions and have won 2. I think that is quite humorous and that makes me question how legit the game is. The other 2k is from bodog because they messed uo my checks so they credited my account 2k.

I wanna talk about something that pisses me off. Cops piss me off. I hate how they just abuse their fucking power. I mean it really is a goddam joke. I was a witness to a dam fight and the cop was yelling and screaming at me trying to get me to admit to knowing the person involved when I had no idea who he was. I began talking with my hands like all italians haha and he took it as a threat towards him and said, "What are you doing, Dont point at me, I'm a cop, show me some respect". Yeah you are a cop but thats all you fucking are. Dont abuse your power to me. If you dont believe me then see for urself.

Justifiable let me tell ya

On a lighter note school is almost done. I have a huge corporate finance final monday that if I took now Id get a 0. Instead of studyin I played 22 hrs of poker the past 2 days which I guess was a better thing to do. This was the first weekend I didnt go out since the beginning of the semester.

Its off to Vegas next Monday which I'm pretty pumped about. Then I come home for a week and its off to Europe for 2 weeks. Then the day I come home from Europe, its back to Vegas. Then house in Vegas for the World series of Poker at the end of June. PUnta Canta and Myrtle back to back weeks in July. Vegas for my bday with 8 friends in August. Heres to Summer.

Absolutely love my fucking life

Well, poker has not been going all that well lately. February was the worst month ive ever had playing poker. I lost $14,300. It was my first losing month since January 2006. 12 months no losing months is pretty unreal.

Recently, for spring break my friends and I went to Vegas and it was quite possibly the best week of my life. I wanna hop on a plane and fly back right now. It was the wildest time ever. Heres my top 10 moments of the trip in no order

1. Shotgunning beers with the bag boys and owning them.
2. Bob spilling margarita all over himself because he fell asleep during Cirque du Soleil.
3. Golfing
4. Bob and Jared drinking for 34 straight hours.
5. $1300 bill at the club
6. Bob getting his hand slammed in the cab door and the cab driver laughing at him
7. Not remembering 2 nights
8. Swimming in the hottub at the venetian till 8AM
9. The gy next to me at the poker table tellin me to try heroin with him
10. Vegas with 4 awesome friends and ur dad and uncle...Priceless

Well I love Vegas sooo much. I guess that has been established lol. Thats why I have scheduled 4more trips there this summer. We are going in May for the Kentucky Derby. Then in June for a golf trip. Then house in Vegas from June 15-29!!! Then finally, 10 days for my bday!!!! Throwing in a trip to Europe May 18-31. I just fuking want summer to get here. Theres nothin better than hanging out with friends and goin on vacation.

I will start updating with more hands from my play. Going to Vegas has really got me wanting to play poker again. Today I won about 1200 but was up 3700 at one point so it was a dissapointing day.

Hmm...Not fun

This is officially the most upset poker has ever made me. I was down 15k make a comeback to 9k now back down about 14k for the month. Bodog got pokertracker back so I will post my biggest wins/losses hands as well as some interesting other ones. I just ended the night on a -4k session over 511 hands. This is just very frustrating bc I played really well. I splashed in limit too where I guess I dint play well and lost 1k.

Things are well bad to say the least

Things have just sucked lately...First off I have had so much work in school the past 2 wks. It has just been ridiculous. Its the mostbusy I've been in college so far.

It is also my biggest downswing ever...My huge downswings are only when I have a lot of schoolwork. My last downswing of 13k was during a period where I had a ton of schoolwork. However, I am happy I had this downswing, because it made me realize things arent always gonna be as easy as theyve been.

Everytime I have a huge downswing its after a huge upswing. That is the case for everyone though. It all started February 1st. Since then I am down 15k. Im not even tilting...trust me ive been pissed and wanted to flip but i really havent tilted. Nothing goes right. I get it in bad and I lose I flip I lose I get it in good I lose. Even though I am well rolled to take the hit, It still sux so bad. I mean Ive only lost about 6 or 7% of my roll.

I am gonna start playing 3 6 which I cant remember the last time I played in order to get some confidence back. My goal is to get even on the month. It will be an uphill battle but I think I can manage 15k in 16 days. I have not had a losing month since January 2006. 12 months of no losing months is amazng but this right now is ridiculous.

Well hopefully it turns around

Running like god

Well Im gonna post a blog for the first time in forever. First off im pissed off that pokertracker still does not work on bodog so I cant track my play. The past 2 months have been amazing though. Im gonna give my stats for December and January so far.

During December I made a little over 37k which is an amazing month. In total I played 101 hours for 366 bucks an hour. I really wish I could post some hands.

So far, throughout January I have made about 24.5k. I have played about 79 hours and made about 310 an hour. Being up 61.5k over the past 2 months is pretty sweet and has really upped my confidence. I have completely changed my game and the results show.

Since October 17th, the day I got cardrunners, I am up 100k. This without a doubt has improved my game drastically. 100k in just over 3 months is more than I could have ever imagined when I started watching the cardrunners videos. Thank you cardrunners!!

Goals for this year
1. Make 250k+ playing poker
2. Get a 3.0 both semesters of school
3. Go on 8 vacations (already got 1 under my belt)
4. Continue to have a sweet ass time at Pitt
5. Job? anybody wanna help or have suggestions?
