I wrote in an earlier blog how my friend jared owned me at hu poker over thanksgiving break. He won 4.5k off me but I still ended up even because I won some other side bets. Well it was payback tonight. First off we play a .25 .50 game at my house. Throughout the course of the night I made about 1500 bucks in that game. Its not ur typical .25 .50 game obviously. Then he was pissed because he lost so he wanted to play me heads up. We played 10 20 NL and I won 2 buyins which ended with me up 5.5k on the night. I also played online earlier today and make about 2.3k.
Overall I booked about 8k, which is a very solid day especially coming off of a 15k day the other day.
Jared and I are also planning a decatholon or whatever u want to call it. We picked 9 events. These events include boiwling, darts, pool, etc... The winner of the best out of 9 events will be awarded with a pretty hefty prize. I look forward to challenge. It should be sooo much fun.
On a side note, I went to see Sweerney Todd on Tuesday which was simply amazing. I had no clue it was a musical going in. I had neevr seen a musical because i figured id hate them. However, this was one of my all time favorite movies. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Well Ill keep updates of me and jareds heads up duels, decatholon, and the other crazy betting that we take part in. It should be a blast.
