Well poker has been nothing short of an amazing lately. Im playing pretty well and running like God. I capped off November this week by winning 11.5k. Overall for November I played about 57.5 hrs and made a little more than 17k which is what I average per month roughly.
Poker has just been so amazing since my trip to Vegas for my birthday. Since August 21st, which is a little over 3 months, I have made about 85k. That is a pretty sweet run. I dont know how to load the poker tracker data still, but here are my stats since October 17th. This is also when I started watching cardrunners videos which has made an enormous improvement in my game. I have made a little over 40k in 25k hands. $1.60 a hand is pretty sick. My bb/100 is 9.53. I have played 95 hours and have made 425 bucks an hour. Here are some recent hands.

Now to something that pisses me off. I mean I have made a very large sum of money in the past 19.5 months. I ask myself how am i so fortunate to have been able to accomplish this. I talk to people who have college degrees and they struggle to support their families. They live paycheck to paycheck. Now this is where I ask myself, how is this fair. There are nights I come home sit there for an hr and a half and I make 5k. Thats a month and a half salry for a good job and I have the ability to make that in an hour and a half!!! I really do nothing. I sit on my ass, type a paper, watch a little tv, and click a button.
How is that deserving of 400 bucks an hour? This is what capitalistic society is though. I am not cdowning capitalism. I mean I believe thats its the best kind of economy. I just think that it sucks that someone works their ass off 40 hours a week and has to live paycheck to paycheck. Some guy trying to put a kid through school and works his ass off to do so seems more deserving of making a lot of money than someone like me. Hopefully, I will continue to be successful and be able to help people and make a difference with the money I make.

Heya Pete, one thing that you need to realize is that you are running very hot right now and are on a very large upswing. This is very normal for poker. I have played a bunch of hands with you so i know you are a competent player and not just some luck box, but you have to realize that sooner or later you will go on a downswing as well. I found myself thinking along the same lines as you a couple months ago, but poker has it's pitfalls as well. When you play your ass off and end up down or just even for a month or two you will understand that poker too has it's downfalls. I write this not to critique you or because i'm envious of your achievements, but more as a warning of the pitfalls of poker. Anyways, i hope you continue to run like god and run your BR up to Brian Towsend numbers, at which point i can still chat with you about the players and action at nosebleed stakes. Until then, keep grinding 5/10 and avoid this crazy good guy named Bluesky8802 :) Peace!
